Steve has been involved with Neo since 2010. He traveled to Nicaragua in 2011, where he built relationships with local communities and saw firsthand how microloans can make a practical difference. 

Education has long been central to Steve’s life, and he has spent more than two decades teaching. He works as a high school economics teacher and part-time financial advisor. His experiences in Nicaragua and elsewhere in Latin America have helped him connect with local communities and support sustainable development. 

Steve, his wife, and their two boys enjoy hiking, biking, and planning their next outdoor adventure. He is also active in his church, nonprofit work, and cheering on the Portland Timbers.
